How do I buy an Offer?
Just click the “Buy!” button before the offer ends. We’ll charge your card and send a confirmation email. Your Offer uses a voucher for redemption, you can print your voucher by visiting your My Stuff page and clicking “My Voucher,” or you can access the voucher on your mobile device using the Offers app and present it to the business.
Can I buy an Offer as a gift for someone else?
Yes. Unless the “Rules” on your voucher or the Fine Print state otherwise, gift away! If the option is available, you can select the gift option at checkout to email the voucher to a friend, or you may give a voucher to someone directly.
I bought an Offer voucher – how do I use it?
Once you’ve paid, you’ll receive an email confirmation. The email will include a link to your My Stuff page so you can print your voucher from your account. If you prefer to go paperless, you can always pull up your voucher on your mobile device using the Offers app when you are ready to redeem it. Your voucher will include redemption instructions right on it!
Can I use my Offer voucher with other coupons or in combination with other discount offers or specials?
No – sorry. Offers are already a bargain and may not be combined with any other promotion.
What happens if my voucher expires?
I bought an Offer – can I return the voucher?
Yes, as long as it has not been used, and it has not expired, we will gladly refund the full purchase price. If it has already expired you can exchange for site credit.
Can I use my credits to buy an Offer?
How early can I buy an Offer before I can redeem it?
The redemption period will always be listed on the offer page and on the voucher. When you buy an Offer, you should typically be able to use it that day. However, some offers are available a few days in advance, so be sure to check the Fine Print before you buy.
Whom do I contact if I have a problem with my offer?
You can contact MAINSTBUYS or the merchant directly. We’ll do our best to help.
What happens if I don’t use my voucher in time?
No harm, no foul. If you don’t get a chance to use your voucher before the promotional value expires, we will refund the purchase value in the original form of payment.
Can I buy the Offers rate directly with the merchant if I mention MAINSTBUYS?
No. The only place you can buy the Offer rate is through MAINSTBUYS. Be sure to buy with us while the offer is available for a limited time!
May I exchange a product I buy on MAINSTBUYS for a different item?
At this time we do not offer replacements, exchanges, or clones. Please read about refunds.
If I don't use the full value of the Offer in one visit, can I use the remainder later?
How long do I have to wait to use my Offer once I've purchased it?
You can use most Offers the day you purchase them.
You can print or mobile access your Offer as soon as your order is processed, which typically happens a few minutes after placing your order.
Can I combine this Offer with other offers?
Nope, including discounts and specials (unless the business tells you otherwise).
Can I give this Offer as a gift?
Yes - you can give your Offer to who ever you want, or use the gifting options to email or print it for a friend.
The fine print says "Limit 1 per person" and "May buy multiples as gifts." Can I buy myself some Offers as gifts to myself and use more than one?
No. If the fine print says this, you can only redeem one. If you buy more than one then you have to give them away as gifts to other people.
Can I use this for alcohol?
Yes, and enjoy! (Unless the Fine Print explicitly says you can't, in which case, well, you can't. Sorry.)
Will this include tax and tip?
No - restaurant deals never include tax and tip. And for Pete's sake, remember to tip on the pre-Offer price!
How does sales tax generally work with vouchers?
A customer is not charged sales tax when a merchant’s voucher is acquired from MAINSTBUYS. Sales tax may be charged and collected by a merchant when the voucher is redeemed, depending on whether the underlying product or service is subject to sales tax and whether or not the merchant has a collection obligation (e.g. a merchant may not have to collect tax in the state to which an order is recieved).
In some states, sales tax will be charged and collected by the merchant based on the full offer value of the voucher (amount paid by consumer plus Promotional Value) plus overspend (e.g. amounts in excess of voucher). In other states, merchants will charge and collect sales tax based upon the amount paid for the voucher plus any overspend (e.g. Promotional Value is subtracted before tax is computed).
